Looking for a cool spot to catch some live music or a movie? The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut is just the place. It’s not your average venue, think cozy, intimate, and full of character. Over the years, it’s become a hub for everything from local film festivals showcasing films from around the world to lively seasonal music festivals in the community park that really bring out Ridgefield’s talented folks. I mean, if you’ve ever sat in the front row, you know how close and personal the experience can be, it’s almost like the performers are right there just for you. They also do a great job with inclusive seating so everyone can enjoy the show without hassle. Plus, the venue is super walkable from downtown Ridgefield, so you can grab a bite or a drink before or after. If you’re coming from Bethel, just take Highway 58 north, simple as that. Whether you’re craving a Joan Jett front-row experience, want to relax in the VIP sections for The Mavericks, or just looking for affordable seats to Brett Dennen, they’ve got options for all tastes and budgets.
